Basement Waterproofing FAQ

As typical ranges: interior systems $70–$150 per linear foot (most Ajax homes $3,500–$15,000); exterior waterproofing $150–$250+ per foot (most Ajax homes $8,300–$15,500); crack injection from $400; sump pump installation $1,500–$4,000. Most full jobs land between $5,000 and $20,000. Every home is different, which is why we do a free on-site inspection and give you an exact fixed written quote.

It depends on the water source. Seepage at the wall-floor joint or up through the floor usually suits an interior drainage system. Recurring leaks through wall cracks, a failed exterior membrane, or clogged weeping tile usually call for exterior waterproofing. Our free inspection identifies the source before we recommend anything — we won't sell you the bigger job unless your home needs it.

Crack injections: half a day. Sump pump replacement: half a day; new pit installation: a full day. Interior drainage systems: 1–3 days. Full exterior waterproofing: 3–7 days including excavation and restoration. We'll give you a firm schedule with your quote.
